Sa Liu, Associate Researcher, certified industrial hygienist (CIH) and Assistant Director of Industrial Hygiene Program, is an exposure scientist with interests in exposures at workplace and of ambient and indoor air pollution, health effects of these exposures and the use of exposome approach to evaluate exposure and health outcomes. She has a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry from Nankai University (China), Master's degrees in Environmental Science and Engineering from Tianjin University (China) and the University of Idaho, Moscow. She received her MPH and PhD in Environmental Health Sciences from the University of California, Berkeley. She works with Dr. S. Katharine Hammond's group, focusing on exposure assessment for epidemiological studies, and with Dr. Stephen M. Rappaport's group focusing on using adductomic method to identify biomarkers of exposure and disease, as well as to elucidate disease etiology
