Welcome to the University of California Berkeley (UCB) Superfund Basic Research Program (SBRP) site.  Our aim is to improve our understanding of the relationship between exposure and disease.  To do this, we build on the strengths of UCB and Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory in the fields of engineering, chemistry, toxicology and molecular epidemiology, to design and develop more effective human and ecological risk assessments, a wider range of remediation strategies, and the training and prevention programs necessary to protect public health, ecosystems, and the environment.  For details, click here
